I have dreamed of you

and lost you to the world
           of images and sounds.

The warm light made its way,
           my eye opened in dismay.

silence could be words unheard
letter could be words unspoken
music could be words unwritten

But,
we interpret these words
misunderstand to worse

Distances has bleached us,
the mysterious ropes which once,
twined us has untwined

The night which once shone
has bared us to the shiver

The candles which danced
with the rhythmic quiver
melted & lost the flicker

The quiet, the silence has bleached us to a still.
The longing stood until, the distance bleached us to brittle.
